According to latest news from chandigarh police and other reliable sources According to the official website the Physical Efficiency Test and the Physical Measurement Test is scheduled to start from September 6 2010 and will commence on October 25, 2010.

Chandigarh Police PET PMT Schedules 2010 For female candidates (General category): PET and PMT will be conducted on October 20, 21 and 22 respectively.
Female Candidates (OBC category): The dates for PET and PMT are October 23, 24 and 25.
Female Candidates (SC category): October 25.
Male Candidates (SC category): October 06 to October 19, respectively.
