The Qwerty keypad-based smartphone has a 2.4 inch transmissive LCD display and is 115 x 58.9 x 12.8 mm in dimensions. It weighs 126 gm and offers 320 x 240 pixel resolution. The smartphone’s onboard memory is 256 MB which can be expanded up to 32 GB through micro SD memory card. Nokia E5-00 boasts of a suite of homescreen features including one-touch access to favourite contacts and social networking sites. The screen’s taskbar is pre-populated with six apps: Maps, Camera, Web, Facebook, Ovi Store and Chat. It also pushes Facebook updates direct to contacts list which allows users to view friend’s updates.

The Nokia E5-00 will initially be available in two colours in India — Carbon Black and Chalk White. The Nokia E5-00 will be available starting with Nokia Priority Stores at a price of Rs. 12,699. Nokia has expanded its ESeries range in India with the launch of Nokia E5-00. Also called Nokia E5, the business phone runs Symbian S60 3rd Edition operating system.
