Recently Sony Ericsson has announced the availability of the Xperia X8 in India price of just under Rs.14,000.
Sony Ericsson X8 features a larger 3.0-inch scratch resistance capacitive screen with a higher 320x480 resolution. To balance this out and keep the price down, the camera is now a 3.2MP fixed focus. The X8 comes with Android 1.6 that hopefully should be upgradable to 2.1 along with the X10 mini and pro. Xperia X8 runs on Google Android 1.6 operating system with 600MHZ processor. This 3G ready phone has the connectivity options like WiFi and Bluetooth. It also features the Timescape and four corner homescreen as the Xperia Series.
