Videocon Mobile Phones today 2010-10-13 announced Zeus in the Indian market Android phone market priced at Rs 12,900. The handset is equipped with Android operating system, a 3.2-inch multi-touch screen, five megapixel camera and Wi-Fi.
"Indian mobile phone market today is very dynamic and price sensitive. With the new launches, we try to get interesting new elements in the industry and are very positive that it will create the desired newness in the industry," Rahul Goel, COO, Videocon Mobile Phones said. The new Videocon Zeus has 3.2 inch capacitive display with multi-touch support and a 5 megapixel camera. The Android 2.1 operating system is powered with a Qualcomm 600MHz processor. The features also include Bluetooth, WiFi, A-GPS and Push Mail service. The new Videocon Zeus is priced at Rs 12,900. The ZEUS comes preloaded with the Android 2.1 operating system, a Qualcomm 600MHz processor, 5MP camera and Wi-Fi. The ZEUS is priced at Rs 12900. Videocon also launched four other handsets along with the ZEUS.

The V1410 comes with an Integrated Laser torch and has a 1.8 inch screen, Bluetooth and MP3 and FM capabilities.

The V1603 comes with a dual battery- internal and external. A 2.4 inch screen and a 2MP camera and thanks to the dual battery, a talktime of 5 hours.

The V1606 is a multimedia phone with dual-sim capabilities, 2MP HD camera, expandable memory and dedicated media keys.

The V1475 has a full QWERTY keypad, expandable memory, bluetooth, expandable memory and pre-loaded social networking apps.
